We often think that strength means being self-sufficient, but the Bible paints a different picture. Paul, one of the most influential apostles, famously declared, “For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:10).
This verse challenges the world’s definition of strength. Paul wasn’t boasting about his own ability; instead, he acknowledged that his strength came through his dependence on Christ. When we embrace our limitations and bring our weaknesses to God, His grace empowers us.
In those moments when you feel the most inadequate, remember that God is ready to show His power. Our weaknesses become a stage for His strength to be displayed. Don’t fear your limitations. Instead, allow God to transform them into moments of divine strength.
Reflective Question: How can you allow God to demonstrate His power in your areas of weakness?
