In times of uncertainty, we often search for strength in the wrong places—our own abilities, the approval of others, or even fleeting circumstances. But the Bible reminds us that true strength comes from the unshakable promises of God.
“The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation” (Exodus 15:2).
This verse is a powerful reminder that our strength is not rooted in ourselves but in the Lord. Just as He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites, God promises to lead us through difficult situations today. Our strength is grounded in His eternal faithfulness.
Take time today to meditate on God’s promises. As you open your Bible, note how many times God promises to be with us, to fight for us, and to never leave us. These promises are as true today as they were thousands of years ago.
Reflective Question: What is one promise of God that you need to hold on to today?
